Waitlist only · last updated 7 October 2026

What we collect

• Your email address.
• What you told us about your device: iPad with Apple Pencil (and which Pencil), iPad only, or another device.
• Your school, if you chose to add it.
• Where you came from: the ad or link that brought you (UTM tags and TikTok’s click ID) and the referring page.

Why

To tell you when Smudge is ready for your device, to decide which schools and devices to open first, and to see which ads work. We send launch news only and never sell or share your email.

Who handles it

• Supabase stores the waitlist.
• Vercel hosts this site and counts page visits without cookies.
• TikTok: if you arrived from a TikTok ad, the TikTok pixel and TikTok’s Events API tell TikTok that a signup happened, so the ads reach more students like you. Your email is sent to TikTok only as a one-way hash, never in plain text.

Deleting it

Email hello@getsmudge.io from the address you signed up with, and we’ll remove you. Every email we send also has an unsubscribe link.
